Atlanta's funniest comedian is disguised as a talented singer/ songwriter. Yep, JOHNNY ROQUEMORE is a witty guy, great songsmith and a durn good git-tar picker, too. Under that ZZ Top-esque beard and wiry shock of hair lies a weird back porch cross-pollination of Roger Miller, Jim Stafford and Shel Silverstein. To add extra cool points to his illustrious career, the lovable wooly mammoth even made a memorable appearance on Chuck Barris' "Gong Show" on NBC-TV back in the hazy '70s. Ya gotta love him. Pick up some of his CDs at one of his local shows.
