Week
number
three
got
off
to
a
great
start.
Ryan
Moss
opened
things
up
with
a
great
set
getting
the
crowd
fired
up
and
ready
to
go.
It
was
nice
to
see
some
of
the
artist
we
have
not
heard
in
a
while.
Jim
Killman
stopped
by
with
his
wife
Lynn.
With
a
little
coaxing
we
we
able
to
get
Jim
into
the
performers
corner
and
it
was
well
worth
it.
Thanks
Jim.
Also
Projector,
Quinton,
Joseph
and
Stephen.
It
was
a
great
set,
you
could
tell
these
guys
have
been
working
hard
as
the
set
was
awesome.
As
usual
It
was
tough
when
it
came
time
to
announce
the
qualifiers
as
so
many
of
artist
just
laid
it
all
out
strong.
The
Grand
Finalist
went
to
Kenyon
Mills
after
a
flawless
set,
Kenyon
has
been
very
consistent
lately
finally
putting
it
all
together
when
it
really
counts.
Ms.
Queen
of
the
ivory,
keyboard
that
is
Karen
Pinsonault
became
the
third
Semi-Finalist
of
the
2008
Spring
Shootout.
Karen
has
been
performing
regularly
at
The
Eleven
Mile
Music
Open
Mic
for
the
past
few
months
and
she
as
well
pulled
it
all
together
tonight.
As
usual
there
was
not
a
bad
performance
in
the
house.
You
can
feel
the
energy
building
each
week
as
we
get
closer
to
the
Grand
Finale/
Remember
a
Semi-Finalist
can
move
into
a
Grand
Finalist
spot
anytime
over
the
next
five
weeks.
Congratulations
to
all
the
performers
as
you
all
were
prepared
and
ready.
It's
important
to
be
on
your
mark
during
the
Shootout
Contest.
Everything
from
being
tuned
and
ready
to
performing
as
flawless
a
set
as
possible.
1st
Place
Prize
Money
after
tonight
is
now
$264.66
and
we
expect
it
to
just
keep
growing.
We
know
with
gas
prices
as
high
as
they
are
it's
harder
to
throw
money
in
the
Tip
Jar
so
we
are
VERY
appreciative
of
we
do
collect.
The
Tip
Jar
and
personal
donations
usually
make
up
more
than
half
of
the
final
prize
money.
The
Celtic
donates
the
initial
$150.00
and
Eleven
Mile
Music
another
$50.00.
We
appreciate
each
and
every
artist
as
well
as
all
the
fans
of
Open
Mic.
We
know
that
without
each
of
you
Open
Mic
would
not
exist!
Remember,
It's
All
About
the
Music!
Thanks & God Bless You All
